To check if your phone is eligible, simply start a valuation on musicMagpie.co.uk.
If the condition of your phone doesn’t match what was submitted online, our colleague will run through the condition discrepancies with you and update the valuation price. You can then choose to accept the new offer or decline it and take your phone home - the choice is yours!
Trading in your phone through Timpson is totally free! Just make sure you’ve created your order with musicMagpie before visiting our store.
Not at the moment. You’ll need to complete your trade-in on the musicMagpie website first and then choose Timpson as your preferred drop-off option.

Before visiting, remember to remove any iCloud/Google accounts and reset your phone to factory settings.
Your trade-in will take around 10–20 minutes from start to finish, as our colleague will have to perform a few quick checks on your device.
Our colleague will run four simple checks:

Identifying the make and model of your device

Confirming the IMEI number through CheckMEND

Making sure your device is free from account locks

Checking the condition matches your online selection
If everything passes, musicMagpie will send your payment shortly after.
Payment is made by bank transfer from musicMagpie and normally arrives within 15 minutes of completing your in-store assessment.
Of course. If you’re not happy with the price, you can cancel the trade-in on the spot and take your phone back home.
